Short version: we collect only the data needed to run the platform, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- From Google sign-in: name, email, profile photo.
- From you: phone number, gender, city, budget. For owners: PG details and photos.
- Automatically: how many times a listing was viewed (an aggregate count).
How we use it
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To connect seekers with owners — an owner’s phone number is shown to signed-in users.
- To verify listings (we call the owner).
- To improve the platform.
What is public
For owners: the PG name, area, city, rent, deposit, amenities, photos and your name appear on the listing. The phone number is shown only to signed-in users — to keep spam out.
For seekers: your name, email and phone never appear on any listing. The owner only learns what you tell them yourself over a call or WhatsApp.
Where the data lives
On Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Storage). Google’s security and infrastructure practices apply.
We don’t sell your data
We do not sell or rent your personal data to advertisers, brokers or data brokers. Ever.
Your rights
- View and edit: update your details from the profile page.
- Delete: to delete your account, write to us — we’ll remove your data and listings.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies — to remember your sign-in session. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
