What we are
PG Bazar is a discovery platform. We connect PG owners with seekers. We are not brokers, not agents, and not a party to any rental agreement. You settle rent, deposit and terms directly with the owner.
Account
- You sign in with a Google account — give accurate details.
- You must be 18 or older.
- You are responsible for the activity on your account.
For seekers
- Browsing is free. We never charge brokerage.
- See and verify the place yourself before paying any advance.
- The Verified badge means we have confirmed the listing with the owner by phone — it is not a property inspection, and not a guarantee of quality or safety.
- Use owner numbers only for your own PG search. Spam or marketing will get your account closed.
For owners
- Listing is free. Only list a property you own or are authorised to list.
- Details and photos must be truthful and current. Stale or inaccurate listings will be removed.
- Charging any seeker brokerage, a finder’s fee, a token amount or a registration charge is not allowed. If we find you doing it, your account is banned — you lose access to the platform, every listing you have is removed, and a paid month is not refunded. This applies whether you ask directly or through someone acting for you.
- Update the listing when the place fills up — showing beds as free when they aren’t is not acceptable.
- We can remove any listing at any time if it goes against these terms.
What is not allowed
- Fake, duplicate or misleading listings.
- Discrimination against any group — only gender preference is allowed, as is standard for PGs.
- Scraping the platform, extracting data in bulk, or breaking security.
- Harassing or spamming other users.
Liability
The platform is provided "as is". Some listings are compiled from publicly available sources such as Google Maps and then confirmed with the owner. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or availability of any listing. We are not responsible for any dispute, damage or loss between an owner and a seeker. Verification is our best effort, not a guarantee.
Changes
We may update these terms. When something significant changes, we will update the date above. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the new terms.
